The nervous-time is back! ACG Kyanime 2012!!!

Assalammualaikum and Ohayo!

Recently I have been busy making my cosplay costume and props. Can't really say i managed to get through even 30% of it, because, i never made any huge weapon prop before. @_@
And another big tasks are making a bolero and armor... *faints* I still haven't buy the accessories to make the things done. Went to Kenyalang last 2 weeks but unfortunately the shop didn't open. ;_;
And all of the process are using hand sewing method! *dies*

And for those of you who wondered why am I panicking...it's because...it's just only a week before Kyanime 2012! *nervous*

8th to 10th June!!

This year, I won't be cosplaying for 3 days though...only one day. Either on Saturday or Sunday.

For the rest of the days, I'll be dressing up in Lolita attires. :)

This is because...my friends and I are opening a booth for our project blog, The Dolly Carnet!
We are going to display our dolls and Lolita fashion, as well as some TDCs' handmade merchandise for sale. ^^ We even have a homemade manga/comic. Go buy, onegaishimasu!! XD

Very nervous! I even wonder what our booth will turn out like. Haha! XD
It's kinda hard to prepare since all of us are far away and separated by busy life.
I'm just hoping that it will turn out cute like this:

Just as long as we get to educate the public about Doll collecting hobby and Lolita Fashion. ^_^

Ducati Multistrada Borneo Experience - Day 4

28th November 2011.

That early morning not remembering that it was a holiday, I woke up to get ready my husband's work things. Luckily he asked, "What are you doing? Ironing my shirt on a holiday? o_O"

So yay!! We got the chance to see the flag-off session of the Ducati Multistrada Convoy! XD

Since it was a holiday, there were lots of parking space available. *winks*

Day 3 - In Sibu

Ducati Multistrada Borneo Experience - Day 3

It was on 27th November, and I was getting ready early to see the Convoy in action in Sibu! :D
Was told to meet up at Rafi Cafe at 8pm according to the itenary sent in my email, but I was there since 7.30pm. But there were nobody there. My husband only dropped me there and himself went to the PC Fair. *cicadas sound* Then I contacted Chloe & Sherrie as I was very "blur" about the situation. Then Chloe said to meet up in RH Hotel instead. So i guess the dinner location was changed to RH Hotel. i quickly called my husband to pick me up, and luckily there were NOTHING to see at the PC Fair Sibu so he can pick me up quickly. :P

Upon our arrival at RH Hotel, ahhhh!!! There were no more parking! Cars parked everywhere (See? Sarawak people are rich. LOL) including the illegal parking. Mr Husband, assuming that we will be attending the dinner quickly, has decided to park illegally. **DO NOT DO THIS. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES AFTERWARD. PLEASE READ UNTIL FINISH**


Finally my husband and I met Chloe at the lobby. She's a very bubbly person. XD
Then, we went up to Level 3 for the dinner session. And on to the pics!

Ducati Multistrada Borneo Experience 2011

I wonder how many of you guys are interested in super cool bikes?
Ha! I don't actually have knowledge about them but I can only drool & fancy! My husband is one of the die-hard fans especially those bikes from Ducati. Still not familiar with the name? Rockin' the 80's at Elizabeth Kiing Beads & Accessories Charity Dinner 2011!

On last 21st October, i have been invited by Cutebun to attend a charity dinner held by Elizabeth Kiing Beads & Accessories at Crown Square. i was veeerrryyyy nervous but excited because the dresscode theme was TGIF and we have to rock the 80's style! XD

Honestly, i wasn't that familiar with the company's name, so i asked around and was shocked that the company was actually the shop that i have been drooling outside the window wanted to go in because of the awesome handmade things and pretty interior, but i got dragged off by my husband. ^^;;
So i guess that it was my lucky opportunity to be able to attend the dinner. ^^ If you are wondering, the shop is located at Ground floor, One Jaya, Jalan Song, Kuching, Sarawak.

Dakara sa! Went to the wardrobe and hunted for anything 80's. i knew i can get something from the wardrobe of my sister's and mine! Teeheehee! *evil giggles* We sisters are fond of everything vintage. Since i got myself a blazer with the huge shoulder pads, made a tulle bow with getah sayur and put it on top of my fedora (damn, i wish i have a bowler hat), put on a lace glove, layers of necklaces, big hoop earrings, grabbed my engineer boots...so Guns'N'Roses-inspired collaborate with Boy George style, here we go!

At the event, there were lots of lovely bling-blings on sale i couldn't take my eyes off of them! Too bad i didn't get to snap a picture or two of them because i got the tendencies of being panic and nervous with lots of people around. -_-

All of the ticket sales went to the Sarawak Autistic Society, Sarawak Mental Health Association, Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society and also to the fire victims of Kpg Sait.

There were lots of interesting fashion show concepts on that night; from the 80's, Evening wear, Leisure wear to the theatrical-LadyGaga-styles... mind you...i LOVE the make-ups on the models (one reminded me of NoorKumalasari, one of the great actress in the 80s.), as well as performances, dances, lucky draw and not forgotten Antique Beads show~!
